Unreinforced and high flow Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) for the medical device industry

VESTAKEEP® Care is the ideal materials for the fabrication of medical devices with short time contact to human blood, tissue or bone for up to 30 days. VESTAKEEP® Care Grades have a good biocompatibility, processability and the option to pigment.
This grade has high mechanical strength, excellent heat and chemical resistance
In an extensive testing program run by independent certified labs, biocompatibility has been tested following United States Pharmacopeia and ISO 10933-1:2003 guidelines.
The test reports attest VESTAKEEP® Care’s excellent biocompatibility.
VESTAKEEP® Care resins can be processed using all conventional melt processing techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, and compression molding.
We recommend a high-temperature molding machine with a temperature of 400ºC or higher.
The mold temperature is recommended in the temperature range of 180-200ºC (preferably 200ºC).
This grade is supplied as pellets in a 25kg box with a polyethylene liner.
The quality guarantee period is separately specified.
